Our Courses

Southern Hemisphere focuses on providing training and capacity building in our specialist fields, e.g. Social Development. Our trainers bring with them a wealth of experience because they also work as consultants in the field and therefore present a perfect union of theory and practice.

Southern Hemisphere boasts a sixteen year success rate for our courses. Enhancing engagement through participatory and practical methods employed in our training and facilitation approach has proven popular with participants.

Courses are based on adult learning methodologies and on principles of Non-Formal Education. We focus on the practical application of concepts and processes using participatory and experiential methods.

Special rates are offered to participants attending more than one course, or to organisations that enrol more than 3 people per course.

All training courses are run in a workshop style using adult learning methodologies with a high degree of participant involvement. Group work is interspersed with input sessions.

The course provides a space for the participants to learn from each other by sharing knowledge and experiences.  While our courses are content intense, we keep things fresh and fun! We incorporate games that allow for team building and reinforce learning as part of the process.
