International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Conference
From May 23rd – 26th, Southern Hemisphere participated in the annual International Association of Facilitators conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
This year’s main theme was “The Quest for Transformation” and covered topics such as facilitation with technology, large group interventions, diversity, facilitation basics, and many more. Due to the information gathered during this past conference, we feel extremely encouraged to expand our facilitation portfolio in order to thrive on the scope of new trends and ideas in this relatively new development skill.

Earth Summit Breakfast 2002
On 25 June 2002 Southern Hemisphere held its first ever corporate breakfast with distinguished leaders of civil society and the private sector. The breakfast aimed to be a preparatory discussion to the upcoming World Summit on Sustainable Development scheduled for August 2002 in Johannesburg, South Africa The highly relevant breakfast topic was “Financing for Sustainable Development”, and we managed to secure the influential Ebrahim Rasool, MEC Finance and Economic Development in the Western Cape Provincial Government as the key note speaker. Well done to the team at Southern Hemisphere – the breakfast was a total success, in terms of turnout and the quality of the debates raised!
